Seasons Greetings

01/10/01 OK, here's the deal. I can prove that Lithuania, where my paternal grandparents came from, is close to Poland. I have lost 26 pounds SINCE the reunion. Nobody loses weight AFTER a reunion, you do it BEFORE! Do you realize how long I have to go until I can show off my gutless physique? Now I know I will be at the 35th reunion for our class. I started the low carbohydrate diet at 223 on 10/04, and I hit 197 today. Contact me for details. All you need is a little willpower, a lot of water and some breath mints. If you've been on this diet, you'll understand the "breath mints" comment. I will eventually discover if my head got bigger or fatter since I graduated. I'll keep you posted. By the way, if you haven't ordered the RANDY MAC CDs & the RAMBLERS CD, do it, do it, do it. It will perk you up if you are having a bad day on the scale, at the office, in your 401(k) or during the entrance exam for the old folks home. Love to all, Joe Goldblatt-'66, goldgrp@aol.com

11/28/00 Hope you and your family have a joyous Christmas season. Let us not forget "The reason for the Season." We celebrate the miracle of Jesus' birth; just as the birth of each child is a miracle. Jesus went to heaven to be with the Lord when his work on earth was done. Each of us will do the same and only the Lord knows when that day will be. So tell your children everyday that you love them. - David Meadows, '65, davidmea@bellsouth.net
