Betsy Albee Lavallet  
 
LAVALLET, BETSY ALBEE, 62, died Wednesday, January 21, 2004, after a brief illness. A longtime resident of Birmingham and a member of the Methodist faith, she graduated from Ramsay High School and attended Birmingham Southern College. In addition to Birmingham, she and her family lived in Cape Canaveral, Fla., Huntsville, Ala., Dallas and Plano, Texas; and Fairhope, Ala. She was a loving wife, mother and friend who gave unselfishly of her time and many talents to help others. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sena Bostwick Albee. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Henry H. Lavallet, sons, Henry H. Lavallet, Jr. (Dana), and Phillip L. Lavallet, grandson, Mason L. Lavallet, brothers, Stewart Albee and Bubber Birdsong; and sister, Kay Albee Fox. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 24, at 11:00 a.m. at Johns-Ridout's Southside Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, January 24, from 10 until 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Johns-Ridout's Funeral Parlor's Southside Chapel directing. <>
