Footnote to THE REUNION in 2000:
At the conclusion of the partying and etc., after all the bills were paid there were some funds left over. In the words of the chairperson, Jane Douthit (Franks):
I had contacted Ramsay to determine if there was a true need there for the donation. I was told they they were refurbishing the seats in the auditorium and any donation we could make would be appreciated. You might want to put it on the website that the Classes of 63-67 made a $3100 donation (actually it's a few dollars more but I don't have the figure handy) and that refurbished 22 seats. They were putting our name on a plaque in the back of the auditorium. As Chairperson, I made this decision after much deliberation.....many suggestions were made, but I felt like this was something that could live on with Ramsay through the years.
